The Storyteller
Hello, I'm C.E. Whitmore, the one who discovered the flour-dusted doorway to Custard Cove and decided to share what I found.
I am a Director and Visual Development Artist specializing in Tactile and Stop-Motion aesthetics. My work bridges the gap between traditional cinema and emerging digital tools, bringing a “hand-crafted” soul to the latent space.
I create Crumb Canvas as a place where visual storytelling meets gentle magic. Using AI as my artistic medium, each image is crafted with the same care you'd find in a beloved children's book; soft watercolor aesthetics, delicate ink outlines, and a healthy dose of whimsical absurdity brought to life through thoughtful artistic and creative direction.
The World
Crumb Canvas is where Tilda Crumb chronicles her cake research adventures, where The Crumbkins (tiny pastry chefs no bigger than buttons) debate the perfect cinnamon ratio, and where Baxter Carrotcrumb delivers magic throughout the Canvas in his carrot truck.
It's not about recipes or tutorials. It's finding wonder in the smallest details; a crumb trail that leads to adventure, the way afternoon light hits a mixing bowl, or the secret life of pastries when no one's watching.
